While in Los Angeles, William and I walked to the beach where Shawn and I went when we were kids. The beach is called "Burnout" and except for a slightly eroded shoreline, it looks just the same as it did 25 years ago. William enjoyed finding shells and chasing the waves. Unfortunately, one wave knocked him face-first into the water. That was the end of our day at the beach.
