On Saturday we took William to the Timpanogos Cave National Monument in beautiful American Fork Canyon. The three adjoining caves, discovered in the 1920's, consist of a 3/4 mile narrow stretch of winding passages filled with limestone, stalagmites, and stalagtites. Since the caves are located 6,730 feet above sea level, we had to hike a steep 3 mile round-trip trail to reach the caves. William hiked the entire trail and asked many questions throughout the tour.
